Dear friends,

I was waiting to cross the street on my way to school today. I don’t know what got into me, but I started counting the passing cars. In less than a minute, I counted 13 drivers who were talking on the phone or texting while driving. Thirteen!!!

Please, stop using your phone while you are behind the wheel. A kid like me, even your own child, might be crossing the street right when a driver like this is not paying full attention. Please take care of us and keep your eyes on the road!
